the elephant men are a mercenary group loosely aligned with Britain.

Now that Knights Templar just looks incredibly cool :D

I love all of this, especially the STG44 undermounted revolver!

the templars really are a crowd favorite :)

thanks but actually that's not a revolver it's a flare gun. the german flare guns were quite versatile weapons you could use it's average flares as incendiary ammo and it also comes with two more ammo variants one being a high explosive shell and the other being a small muzzle loaded shape-charge for use against light armor

plus i once saw a chart with all the STG-44 variants and one of them had an undermounted flare gun

There's just something very appealing about mixing old and new ideas of warfare so a Knight with a Grease gun looks awesome :D

Ah, I did not know that-good old versatile German engineering! I also forgot to mention that I like the British Occult Commando's quintisentially English look: a supernatural soldier who could easily fit in at a London stage show :D

you should call it problematic history, or something hints of its difference to our history.

The Crusader's helmet, while visually brilliant, is really not something you want limiting your view in a firefight.

Also, yay sensible pouches! Yay elephant men!

yeah well it's not like weapons and armor designer got it perfect every time back in the old days not only that but Ned Kelly wore a similar helmet so i guess this Templar can live with it :XD:

elephant men are hideous to look at but their internal organs are spread out which means those organs can't be ruptured by just one bullet.

well not all of them are elephant men actually, they've just earned the nickname "elephant men" 'cause of the clothes they wear which conveniently is pretty good at concealing weapons gear body armor and other tools of the trade

Very cool. If she's up for redesign, I'd give the French Operator longer pants for field work- she can always have other sexy outfits.

yeah i know there's been a lot of debate with her design i just wanted to giver some fatigues and gear that's it, but then i decided to give her a skirt as one person suggested but when i gave it to another member of the dev team she said the skirt's impractical

i'll come up with something

The Crusader looks incredible, as does the Sapper. Adding modern designs to old ones seems to be a skill not limited to 40k.

yeah well i'm no weapons expert but i have studied the history of military load-bearing gear quite a bit so i can mix things up from different time periods and looks together to make all sorts of designs

More of these awesome Alternate history dudes! Nice.

I like the Dwarven Red Army Sapper. WW2 would have been really something else if the Nazis were literally gassing non humans like Dwarves and Halflings and such.

and the rest of the development team consist of who?

personally i think it fits pretty well, maybe along with sub-title saying "how it cold have happened", just an idea.

(not subtitle like on movies but subtitle as in "not quite the main title but still a form of lesser title or extra text").

well i'd imagine our dev team to be bigger but i personally know only three of them we have two programmers one of which is also a part time 3d graphics artist, one writer, and me, the conceptual artist, soon to be 3d artist and creator of the universe/setting

you mean a tagline right?

The word we use in denmark translates directly to "under title" so i thought that the word i was searching for was "subtitle", but after consulting wikipedia i now see that "tagline" is more appropriate.

so yes, i mean tagline.
and i just think it sounds more awesome when it has a tagline along the lines of "how it could have happened" or "forget everything you learned in history class"
