Ah, another fine selection of Imperial character designs to dissect - let's to it!

A) Somewhere, within that walking Gothic castle, a human remains trapped ever since their teleportation device malfunctioned. Now I like the general design of the armour, but even for 40K that gorget and the pauldrouns are a bit much. Unless they come with sensory bundles installed, this Inquisitor is screwed the instant a witch leaves her peripheral vision!

B) Red haired Vladimir Makarov IN SPACE makes his return from the other doodles sketch, showcasing the tech level of some civilized worlds in the Imperium.

C) While I appreciate the fresh perspective on the Inquisition offered by this individual - that it's not all fieldwork and glorious purges, someone has to stay behind and navigate the bureaucratic labyrinth of the Imperium's internal information - I can't say I'm crazy about it personally. I mean, he does look like a fat office slob. :P The CIA agent helping the South Koreans in the first Mercenaries game is proof that such a character type can be pretty awesome, in a mastermind sort of way, but its not for me.

D)  *Much* better! Aside from the whole, Not-Heer look, I like the Hauptmann's Iron Cross with Soulstone and cybernetic looking helmet, which suggests to me an attempt to find a counter to filthy Eldar pysker tricks. The Soulstone also serves as a good pyschological weapon to employ against the xenos; I can easily imagine their fury at such a sacred item being used as a trophy. I can also imagine its influence steadily driving the Captain insane and heightening his obsession at eradicating the aliens to make the voices stop, so cool stuff all around really.

E) His eyes have seen the face of war....or he's probably just miserable that someone stole his mask.

F) Not Cadian, but a Guardsman from a world close enough to Cadia's supply chain to develop similar equipment? It's a practical design and one I approve of.
